My journey as a travel professional truly began with a "disastrous" trip to the Louvre. I had grand visions of my 6-year-old son, Gavin, sketching masterworks; instead, he was bored, and I was miserable! That’s when I pivoted, and for the next 13 years, we explored the world through Mickey’s eyes. From Disney Destinations to global cruises, these adventures molded my son into an incredible young man and became the source of my proudest moments as a mother.

Throughout my 25-year career as an educator, and now as a "corporate girlie" at Walmart, travel has been my lifeblood. Whether living in Southern California, Seoul, or Northwest Arkansas, I’ve always been dreaming up the next departure.

My favorite way to travel is to "sample" the world via cruising and then return to my favorite spots to dive in like a local. This perspective allows me to help you uncover the hidden gems that standard travel guides often miss. While Paris is my all-time favorite destination (including Disneyland Paris), I have traveled extensively across Europe, Asia, and North America.
